Reiki always works for the higher good, and is a simple, natural and intuitive way of bringing the body into a harmonious state . This energy can be channelled by the practitioner with their focus on positive outcomes for both you and your horse, and can be a wonderful way of assisting you both.
Reiki is not a substitute for good horsemanship, training and common sense when working with and around horses, but rather is a gentle healing energy which can assist you during your equine journey.
As well as providing an opportunity to totally relax and rebalance physically, mentally and emotionally, there is so much more to Reiki energy and how it may assist both you and your horse. Some examples include
- Improving rider confidence
- Improving competition or exam confidence and for horse and rider
- Reiki in the stable, horse box, or other space, for horses who become upset by situation, such as being loaded into a horse box or trailer.
- Reiki to assist equine behaviour issues such as running through fences, separation anxiety, fear of the vet or farrier, and anxiety related wind sucking.
- Reiki for horse or rider injury.
The effects of Reiki are cumulative, so a course of treatments is generally advisable. It is entirely up to you how many sessions you would like and your Reiki practitioner will be happy to assist in advising you.
